We like say a big thank you to all the parents that came to the 212 Parents Connect meeting! There was a lot discussed and we wanted to make sure that all the important changes we're communicated clearly. You will find the main points highlighted below:

Why Make the Change?

• Allows the High School students the opportunity to sit with their parents during the main VWC services.
• Allows adults to see the youth of Victory
• Creates more "community" opportunities for the High School students
• Allows for 212 students to invite their friends.

When will the Changes Happen?

• 212 High School services will begin Sunday night at 6:00pm starting February 1, 2009
• 212 Middle School services will remain the same during the adult services - Saturdays at 6:00pm, Sundays at 9:00am and 11:00am.

Additions to 212 Starting February 1, 2009

• The V2 Building will be opened at 2:00pm
• High School students will have the opportunity to stay at the V2 building and participate in multiple activities before the evening services. Here are a few:
  • Discipleship classes - Specific topic classes
  • Small groups - C-Groups will have time to meet before services
  • Tournament Outreaches (basketball, video games, etc)
  • Free time for fellowship with other teens
  • Tutoring
• 212 Transportation Ministry
  • Students will be picked up from 2 locations at 5:00pm and brought to 212. The Locations will be the Burger King at Discover Mills Mall and Burger King by Mall of Georgia.

Ignite Spring Break Conference

1. April 6th - 10th :: $310 :: SharpTop Cove - Jasper, GA

2. Fundraiser provided by 212 this Year:

• Candy Fundraiser - Each candy bar is $1 and you receive 52 in a box. For every box you sell you will receive $26 towards you trip. If you sell 12 boxes of candy your entire Ignite trip is paid for.
• Discount Business Cards Fundraiser - Each card is $10 and you receive 5 cards in one batch. For each batch you sell you will receive $30 towards your Ignite trip. For every 10 cards you sell you will receive an additional $20 towards your Ignite trip. If you sell 40 cards your entire Ignite trip is paid for.
